Leeds United are reportedly in the hunt for Hartlepool youngster Harrison Webster but will face competition from Wolves and a number of other clubs.
TEAMtalk is reporting that Leeds ‘remain big fans’ of the 17-year-old and have had him training with the club at some point over the past few months.
However, Wolves are also keen on the left-back and have had him training at the club as well. They were first reported as keen on the player back in 2018, so he is clearly something of a long-term goal for the club.
Bristol City, Burnley, Nottingham Forest, and Sunderland are also keen on the player, whose contract expires in the summer.

TEAMtalk have previous with Hartlepool stories. They reported on Leeds’ interest in talented defender Luca Murphy in March 2019 but also credited Fulham with an interest in the player. He ended up joining the Cottagers, where he has impressed in their youth-team.
Leeds have 20-year-old Leif Davis coming through the ranks but next season it may be time for him to find a loan deal, leaving a potential gap in the under-23s in the position.
At present, it would appear unlikely that any move for Webster would see him immediately go into the first-team, instead playing with Carlos Corberan’s side and trying to forge a career for himself at Elland Road.
But with Wolves also keen, Leeds will clearly have a difficult time trying to secure the services of this talented non-league talent.
