Leeds United are set to bolster their ranks this summer with the signing of Barcelona B forward Rafa Mujica, according to Spanish publication Marca.
The 20-year-old will see his contract expire with the Catalan giants this summer and is expected to complete the formalities on a switch to Elland Road.
It is unclear just yet which division the Whites will play in next season. They currently hold a one-goal advantage over Derby in the play-offs, ahead of tomorrow’s second leg. If they overcome the Rams they will need to defeat either Aston Villa or West Brom to reach the Premier League.

Typically a striker, Mujica can also operate on either flank. This season he has scored seven goals in 33 games for the Segunda B outfit.
TBR Verdict
Leeds aren’t blessed with a plethora of attacking talent at the club. Kemar Roofe and Patrick Bamford have rotated as the two focal points of Marcelo Bielsa’s attack this season.
It is clear that the Argentine boss has identified the final third as an area that needs strengthening this summer.

Mujica will arrive on these shores as an unknown quantity. Having come through the youth ranks at Las Palmas, he joined the Barcelona academy in 2015 but hasn’t played for the senior team.
It will be interesting to see what role he plays at Leeds. Will he come in and make an immediate impact? Or, will he be forced to wait patiently for a chance to shine?
