Leeds United were dealt a hammer blow during their 1-0 defeat to Sheffield United as Pontus Jansson picked up a knee injury.
The Whites were leapfrogged by the Blades into the automatic promotion spots but news of the Swede’s injury is perhaps more of a concern.

Jansson has been integral to Leeds this season.
The 28-year-old has played 30 Championship games for the Whites, becoming one of Marcelo Bielsa’s most crucial players.
According to BBC Sport, Jansson will be missing for three weeks and that is a massive loss.
Bielsa’s team now have it all to do in the quest to promotion and the injuries are beginning to add up at Elland Road.
Gaetano Berardi is the most obvious choice to replace him and fans seem happy with that concept.
The Yorkshire Evening Post have confirmed that Berardi is ready to step in for Jansson after nearly seeing his season ended in October.
The Swiss defender tore his hamstring so severely that it came away from the bone. An operation would have ended his season so he opted to take the other route and allow recovery without surgery.

When Millwall visit Elland Road following the international break that decision looks like a wise one as Bielsa prepares to call upon Berardi.
Following the Yorkshire Evening Post’s update, Leeds fans have reacted to Berardi’s potential inclusion.
