Leeds United or Aston Villa – which would be better move for Kadeem Harris?

Kadeem Harris was part of the Cardiff City side which earned promotion from the Championship last season and has taken to the Premier League impressively.

But his contract is expiring this summer and that has offered hope to two sides hoping to emulate the Bluebirds and get out of the second tier this season – Leeds United and Aston Villa – that a deal can be done in the January transfer window.

The Sun claim that the fact Harris has yet to open talks has attracted the attention of both Dean Smith and Marcelo Bielsa, as well as Phil Parkinson at Bolton Wanderers.

It is unlikely the strugglers will get their hands on him if the promotion chasers are serious about their interest – but if it comes down to a straight choice between Villa Park and Elland Road, where should Harris go?

Both sides have a good array of wingers to choose from, but the patchy form of Ezgjan Alioski offers Harris an easier route into Leeds’ side than ousting Villa’s impressive option.

The opportunity to play under Bielsa is also a potential game-changer, as is the fact their league position is higher at present.

But if Villa make up some ground between now and January, Harris will have a choice to make.
