Cameron Carter-Vickers could be on his way out of Tottenham Hotspur for the season. It has recently been reported that Swansea City are keen on the player, along with Ipswich Town and Sheffield Wednesday. The Evening Standard has today confirmed that he is allowed to leave Spurs on loan to a Championship team, with Swansea the favourites.
But Leeds United should really consider hijacking a move for the player.
Swansea fans may feel slightly like Leeds have already hijacked them enough this week. The 2-2 draw at the Liberty Stadium last night was a game Swansea will feel they should have won.
But it also showed that Leeds need a new centre-back before the loan window closes.

The Whites are short in the position. When Liam Cooper pulled out of the starting XI with an injury sustained in the warm-up, Leeds were threadbare. In the end, Luke Ayling and Gaetano Berardi, full-backs by trade, played at centre-half.
Pontus Jansson is still not fully fit after his World Cup exertions and Carter-Vickers could prove an excellent solution.
Tottenham would love the deal. Mauricio Pochettino is close to Marcelo Bielsa and would love his American talent to get a chance to work under his compatriot at Elland Road. Leeds would also benefit. Carter-Vickers proved himself more than capable in the Championship last season during spells at Sheffield United and Ipswich Town.
If Leeds are to sustain their challenge throughout the season another centre-back option must surely be a priority before next Friday. Carter-Vickers could be the perfect option.
