Leeds United’s first string won again this week. The Whites defeated Rotherham United 2-0 to continue their fine start to the season.
But how did the first-team players at Leeds United, sent out on loan this summer, get on over the weekend?
Lewie Coyle – Fleetwood Town
Played out of position at left-back again but put in an excellent performance in a 2-2 draw with Rochdale. The Blackpool Gazette described his performance as ‘storming’ and he was awarded their man-of-the-match award.
Pawel Cibicki – Molde
The Swede played 68 minutes as Molde’s lingering title hopes were dashed in a 3-1 loss v relegation-threatened Stabaek.
Jay-Roy Grot – VVV Venlo
The Dutchman made his first start of the season after recovering from injury. His side were beaten 1-0 by Ajax, with Grot playing 74 minutes.
Tyler Denton – Peterborough United
After a difficult performance v QPR in the League Cup, Denton was left out of the Posh squad for their 3-1 win against Luton Town.

Paudie O’Connor – Blackpool
The Irishman was hung out to dry slightly. A complete out-and-out centre-back, he was asked to play at right-back and then left-back. Eventually subbed off after the hour.
Mallik Wilks – Doncaster Rovers
After three goals in his first three games for Donny, the Leeds youngster looks a top talent.
But, despite a good performance and some hard work, the striker failed to score for the first time in a Doncaster shirt.
Hadi Sacko – Las Palmas
Came on in the 76th minute of a 2-0 win for Las Palmas.
