Leeds United loan watch: De Bock debut, Sacko dropped and Ekuban scores

How did the Leeds United first team loanees get on this weekend?

Paudie O’Connor – Blackpool

The Irish talent was left on the bench for the first time in the league this season as Blackpool held Walsall to a 0-0 draw.

Laurens De Bock – KV Oostende

The Belgian made his debut at centre-back against Sint Truiden at the weekend. Unfortunately, he came out the wrong end of a 1-0 loss.

Tyler Denton – Peterborough United

Was again left out of the matchday squad for the 1-1 draw with Doncaster Rovers.

Lewie Coyle – Fleetwood Town

Another brilliant performance from the Leeds talent in a win against Yorkshire rivals Bradford City.

Vurnon Anita – Willem II

The Dutchman came on late for his first game since April. However, his side were already 6-1 down against PSV Eindhoven.

Ouasim Bouy – PEC Zwolle

Made his debut for his new team as a second-half substitute against Groningen. He emerged a 1-0 winner from the game.

Eunan O’Kane – Luton Town

 

Came on for his Hatters debut in a 1-1 draw with Wycombe Wanderers.

Yosuke Ideguchi – Greuther Furth

Sat on the bench as his new side beat MSV Duisburg 1-0 away from home.

Hadi Sacko – Las Palmas

The Mali winger was left out if the squad for his sides 1-1 draw with Real Zaragoza at the weekend.

Pawel Cibicki – Molde

Grabbed an assist as Molde beat Zenit 2-1 in the Europa League in midweek. However, it was not enough to qualify as they lost the first leg 3-1.

Came off the bench as Molde drew 1-1 with Odd at the weekend.

Jay-Roy Grot – VVV Venlo

Played the full 90 minutes as Venlo earned a 1-1 draw with Heerenveen in his best performance since leaving.

Caleb Ekuban – Trabzonspor

Easily the pick of the loanees. The striker scored on his debut as Trabzonspor thrashed Galatasaray 4-0 in the Turkish Super Lig.
