Leeds United have recently been linked with a transfer move for the talented Croatian midfielder Ivan Sunjic.
Interest in the Dinamo Zagreb player originally emanated from the Daily Mail. It was then reported in Croatia. Sportske Novosti suggested that Leeds had entered a £3.5 million bid for the player. Such an offer was described as too low and Leeds would reportedly have to spend more to make a deal happen.
The player himself has now had his say on the matter.

Sunjic was quizzed about his future by Sportske Novosti this week. The player made it clear that, at present, he is only thinking about remaining in the Croatian capital for the foreseeable future.
“Honestly, I do not do it, I do not read portals and media, I’m focused on Dinamo.
“Behind me is a good season, team and personal, though, clearly, it can be better.
“I signed a recent contract, I’m just here, I’m just thinking of Dinamo.”
Of course, this is the relative stock answer when a player is quizzed about his future. It certainly does not seem as if the midfielder is currently in talks with Leeds.
Leeds, if interested, should certainly consider another bid for the player. The 22-year-old is an excellent midfield operator and has one cap for the senior Croatian national team on his impressive resume.
While he currently seems committed to Dinamo, that could change with an offer to play under Marcelo Bielsa at Elland Road.
