Kun Temenuzhkov steals the show for Leeds United’s Under-23 outfit, netting stunning winner

The young Bulgarian scored a superb goal to see the Whites edge a five-goal thriller at Elland Road.

Leeds United’s Under-23 side kept their magnificent season going under the influence of Carlos Corberan last night. An entertaining 3-2 victory over Coventry City booked their place in the PDL-National Cup Final.

The matchwinner last night was Kun Temenuzhkov. His beauty of a strike from outside the box extinguished the Sky Blues’ hopes of an upset and sent the Whites on their way.

Temenuzhkov has been in solid form throughout the campaign for the Leeds development outfit. The 19-year-old has helped the Whites to the league title, playing a pivotal part in this season’s progress.

The Bulgarian-born forward’s goal last night showcased exactly what he is capable of, leaving Leeds supporters drooling at the prospect of him one day featuring for the first-team.

Last night’s game-changer was a signing from Barcelona back in 2017. The youngster was handed a first-team debut by Marcelo Bielsa earlier in the campaign, playing the final 11 minutes of a 2-1 defeat to QPR in the FA Cup.

As a result, it would appear that Temenuzhkov has an extremely bright future at Elland Road, with last night’s win further highlighting such a theory.

The Leeds supporters were in awe at such a stunning goal to win the match and took to Twitter to speak of their absolute delight for the youngster…
