Leeds United have offloaded Kemar Roofe, with the striker finalising his switch to Belgian outfit Anderlecht.
The deal was confirmed on the club’s official website and ends a three-year stay at Elland Road for the forward.
Roofe made 122 appearances for Leeds, scoring 32 goals and his last strike was the winner in a 1-0 win over Derby County in the first leg of last season’s play-0ffs.

His departure means that Leeds must look towards another striker before the window slams shut. Patrick Bamford is now the only senior frontman at the club and strength in depth is required.
Roofe signed for Leeds for £3 million back in 2016 and moves to Vincent Kompany’s outfit for an undisclosed fee (BBC Sport).
The Yorkshire Evening Post has confirmed significant profit on what Leeds paid for his services. Although officially undisclosed, they have claimed a fee in the region of £7 million.
Following his departure, supporters have taken to Twitter to speak of their frustration. Roofe is the second big-name outgoing this summer after Pontus Jansson joined Brentford.

Leeds fans are typically passionate and they are keen to see a signing or two arrive to replace the missing parties.
