Leeds United have confirmed on their official website that Kalvin Phillips has put pen-to-paper on a new five-year deal.
The 23-year-old was the subject of interest from Premier League clubs during the summer (Yorkshire Evening Post), but the midfielder has chosen to stay at Elland Road.
His fresh contract will run until the summer of 2024 and the club confirmed that offers in excess of £20 million were rejected during the transfer window.

Phillips is a firm fan favourite at the West Yorkshire-based club.
Having risen through the youth ranks the midfield enforcer has gone onto play 149 games for the first-team.
He is one of the very best in his position in the Championship and was named in the Team of the Year last season for his stunning form.
This latest development will delight supporters who have been desperately hoping that the club could keep him from the clutches of the Premier League.

Having seen the window slam shut with Phillips still on the books the logical solution was to offer him a new deal at the football club.
As the ink dried on the new contract, Leeds fans took to Twitter to rave about this decision by the football club.
Here is a selection of Tweets from the club’s loyal supporter in the aftermatch of Phillips penning a new deal:
