Reports have emerged this morning courtesy of the Scottish Sun that the highly-rated Jake Hastie is set to sign for Rangers.
The 19-year-old looks set for a bright future and will sign a pre-contract agreement with the Gers.
News of this development will naturally hurt Leeds United.

According to talkSPORT, the Whites were keen to land Hastie and they could have missed a trick here.
Hastie will sign a four-year deal to join Steven Gerrard’s team, with the winger ignoring interest from England.
The left-winger has been in fine form for Motherwell this season.
The Scot has netted nine goals and claimed seven assists, during a breakthrough campaign.
It seems strange why Leeds haven’t done more to try and land the youngster.
Hastie boasts pace, natural talent and the skills to beat defenders with ease.
Leeds will naturally have summer targets that they will pursue but signing the Motherwell man would have been a great investment for the future.
The Whites have a proud history of giving youngsters a platform to play first-team football and Hastie would have excelled at Elland Road.
It remains to be seen who Leeds do target. Perhaps they have not signed Hastie as they aren’t totally sure at this stage which division they will play in.

Marcelo Bielsa has been cute in the transfer market during his time with the Whites.
He will surely have something up his sleeve for the summer and time will tell whether not signing Hastie will prove a good move or not.
Right now, a loss for Leeds is a gain for Rangers.
