Leeds United’s under-23s were held to a 1-1 draw by Nottingham Forest at the Nigel Doughty Academy.
Ryan Edmondson gave the Whites a half-time advantage but the Reds struck back through Brennan Johnson.
Carlos Corberan’s team were once again indebted to goalkeeper Islan Meslier who saved yet another penalty.

The 19-year-old is on loan at Elland Road from Lorient and today’s save is his third from the spot this season.
Meslier is yet to make his first-team debut and in recent weeks, the French youngster has lost his place in Marcelo Bielsa’s squad.
It remains to be seen whether or not he will have an impact on the senior ranks before the season is out.
The club may still choose to make his loan deal permanent if he continues producing the goods for the under-23s.
He looks assured at coming for crosses, possesses strong shot-stopping ability and is a dab hand at saving penalties.
Kiko Casilla could be hit with an FA ban at some point this season with an investigation currently pending.

If that is the case it could hand Meslier with an opportunity to impress.
All the youngster can do is keep performing as he did in the game against Forest and the rest will take care of itself.
Here we look at a selection of tweets from Leeds fans after another penalty stop by Meslier:
