Leeds United advanced into the next round of the FA Youth Cup last night by beating Hull City 3-1 at Elland Road.
Two goals from Charlie Cresswell and a thunderbolt by Josh Shergill saw the Whites home.
The Tigers put up a fight but in the end, were the victims of a superb piece of individual skill from Shergill.
The 17-year-old struck an unstoppable effort beyond the Tigers goalkeeper and it proved the catalyst for a Leeds comeback victory.

Will Jarvis had the visitors in front after just 38 seconds of the tie, throwing the Leeds preparation out of the window.
Shergill’s rocket and a brace from central defender Cresswell saw the Whites through in the end.
Leeds have a youth academy to be proud of and some of last night’s performers will hope to impact the first-team one day.
One of those could well be Shergill. The highly-rated left-back was a standout performer throughout and would have caught the eye without his stunning goal.

Following the game, Leeds supporters were blown away by the sheer brilliance of Shergill’s goal.
Several took to Twitter to rave about the piece of brilliance and here is a selection of tweets from the Whites faithful:
