Leeds United narrowly missed out on the Premier League last season after a close-fought battle for automatic promotion with Sheffield United.
The Whites would succumb to defeat in the play-offs against Derby County and 2019/20 looks like being a big season.
It could be a summer of upheaval at Elland Road. Brentford have already poached Pontus Jansson, Kalvin Phillips is wanted by Tottenham (The Mirror), Kemar Roofe is interesting Crystal Palace (Sky Sports) and Burnley are keen on Mateusz Klich (The Sun).
With that in mind, boss Marcelo Bielsa will be targeting some signings of his own.

With interest in Klich and Phillips rife, the midfield engine room could be an area that needs strengthening.
One man who could leave his current club this summer is Aston Villa midfielder, Henri Lansbury.
Since his £2.75 million move from Nottingham Forest in 2017 (BBC Sport), the 28-year-old has endured a torrid time.
Injury problems hampered his progress last season and he featured in just five first-team games.
Following Villa’s promotion, he could be deemed surplus. Villa have signed several players already and Lansbury may not make the club’s 25-man Premier League squad.

Lansbury could thrive at Leeds.
During his time at Forest, he was a forward thinker. His energy allowed him to get up and down the pitch, but his link-up play with the team’s attacking options was a joy to behold.
Bad players don’t emerge overnight and Lansbury simply needs to play football.
A proven Championship performer, the midfielder would be a real asset in Bielsa’s style of play and his arrival at Elland Road could suit all parties.

Lansbury is brilliant on the ball and perhaps more crucially he would have a serious point to prove to people.
Whether Leeds lose Phillips or Klich or not, the Villa midfielder could prove to be a class signing for the Whites.
