Leeds United secured their second pre-season victory in as many days with a 2-1 win over Guiseley last night.

Kaine Felix gave the National League North outfit the perfect start on nine minutes when he fired the hosts ahead.

The Whites weren’t to be denied, however, with Helder Costa and Mateusz Bogusz firing second-half strikes to see Leeds over the line.

Some positive performances were on display in both games and Leeds will hope to be challenging for promotion this season.

All eyes were on Helder Costa last night.

The 25-year-old arrived at Leeds on a season-long loan recently and looks a quality addition to Marcelo Bielsa’s ranks.

In two seasons playing Championship football at Wolves, he netted 15 goals and registered 14 assists. The Whites will now hope he can bring some flair to their side over the next 12 months.

Costa got off to a flyer during his debut for the Whites and his superb solo goal offered a glimpse of what Leeds can expect from their new signing.
