Leeds United clearly have a star in the making with Jack Clarke. The 18-year-old has been putting in some game-changing performances from the bench and Marcelo Bielsa’s faith in the player is being rewarded.

When it comes to describing the teenager it is hard to find comparable players. But one man who he resembles more than any other is Manchester City and England attacker, Raheem Sterling.

Clarke has the pace to burn past players but is also more than adept at the more subtle art of beating a player. Comfortable on either foot he has also shown himself to be something of a danger in front of goal.

Like Sterling, there is no reason why he cannot one day play more through the middle.

The likes of Liverpool and Manchester City are both keen on him, two of Sterling’s foe+rmer teams. Knowing how much Pep Guardiola rates the England international, it is no wonder he shares a similar affinity for a player who is so very alike in style.

Leeds must ensure they keep hold of the player, even if they fail in their bid for Premier League promotion.
