Leeds United fans very excited by Tyler Roberts’ performance in training video

Leeds United posted a video of their players back in training on their social media account yesterday and it has caused quite a stir among the club’s fanbase. 

Leeds fans are clearly excited about a return to Championship action and are hopeful that the players can help take the club back to the Premier League. 

The video showed several training sessions from the players, with some of the club’s first-team stars looking in great form.

Barry Douglas looked dangerous, Illan Meslier made plenty of saves whilst Ben White appeared his usual imperious self. 

But one player who stood out among the crowd was Tyler Roberts. 

The Welsh attacker has spent much of this season on the sidelines or on the bench as he again battled niggling injury trouble.

But he looked in fantastic shape throughout the training video and Leeds United fans clearly noticed. 

They are not alone. Adam Forshaw told the Leeds That podcast that Roberts looks in ‘great shape’ ahead of the restart. 

The 21-year-old has been unlucky with injuries during his time at Elland Road and he has not started a Leeds league game since November.
