Leeds United fans respond to Robbie Savage’s suggestion of Marcelo Bielsa for the Arsenal job

Marcelo Bielsa has clearly made a huge name for himself in England with his performances in charge of Leeds United. The Argentine has turned the Whites into one of the Championship’s most consistent performers and they were extremely unfortunate not to win promotion back to the Premier League last season. 

With that in mind, it would be no surprise if Bielsa was catching the eye of clubs in the top-flight. 

Indeed, that is the opinion BBC 5 Live presenter Robbie Savage seems to have. 

He was discussing the Leeds boss as the discussion moved on to the topic of who should replace Unai Emery at Arsenal. The Spaniard was sacked after 18 months in charge at the club earlier this week.

Savage seemingly suggested the Elland Road supremo, who is also known for his work with Argentina, Chile and Athletic Bilbao, as an option. 

That opinion was shared by co-presenter Emma Louis Jones, who is of course also a presenter on LUTV.

Leeds United fans had one simple message to Savage and any Arsenal fans who think Bielsa could be up for grabs and that is that the Argentine is at Leeds United to stay for the foreseeable future…
