Leeds United fans react to Pablo Hernandez’s display against Sheffield Wednesday

Leeds United took another huge step towards automatic promotion to the Premier League with a 1-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday at Elland Road (BBC Sport).

Marcelo Bielsa played down the nature of the result following the game, but there is no denying how big a result it is for the Whites, who are now three points ahead of Sheffield United with four games left to play.

It was a nervy first hour or so, with goalkeeper Keiren Westwood standing firm for the Owls as Leeds pressed for a goal.

The deadlock was eventually broken by Jack Harrison, who steered in Pablo Hernandez’s cross for his fourth of the season.

It was Hernandez’s 12th assist of the season, with the Spaniard once again proving his huge influence for Leeds.

The winger has played a major part in the club’s brilliant season, and was on hand once again to be a difference-maker against Wednesday.

Harrison obviously came in for many of the plaudits for his winning goal, but Hernandez was again lauded for another superb display.
