Leeds United fans react to news Fulham reportedly want Adam Forshaw

According to reports, Leeds United may be about to field an offer for midfielder Adam Forshaw. Recently relegated Fulham are said to want the midfielder, with manager Scott Parker a fan of the player.

The Daily Mail suggest Parker sees him as a perfect cog in his midfield for next season. Fulham are hoping to fight for promotion back to the Premier League and Forshaw could play a role.

Leeds United, according to the Daily Mail, spent £4.5 million on Forshaw in January 2018. However, the former Middlesbrough man has struggled to find consistent form and fitness at Elland Road since his arrival.

With that in mind, the reaction from some Leeds fans on Twitter has been positive to the news.

It appears some feel Leeds should cash in on the player and use the money to bring in better options ahead of another promotion assault.

However, despite Forshaw’s shortcomings, that is not a universal opinion.
