Leeds United appear resigned to losing Jack Clarke this summer with Tottenham Hotspur set to sign the talented winger.
As reported initially by the Daily Express, Tottenham have agreed a deal with Leeds for the player which could see him loaned back to Leeds for the season.
The Sun has elaborated further on the deal. They claim the deal will be worth an initial £8.5 million for Leeds. They state the West Yorkshire side need to balance the books and Clarke’s sale is a part of that. Add-ons could eventually take that price up to £13 million.
The report also mentions but does not confirm a potential loan return. However, Tottenham are said to understand that Clarke still needs regular football.

It would be a shame for Leeds to lose their talented winger. But it has become clear Leeds needed to sell a player this summer in order to improve the squad. Much like they did last summer with Ronaldo Vieira, it appears Clarke is this summer’s sacrificial lamb.
Whilst Leeds fans seem to reluctantly accept that fact, they are fairly furious about the price.
Leeds fans were hoping for upward of £10 million for their talented wideman this summer. Considering the fees paid for Daniel James, David Brooks and James Maddison in recent times, some fans feel Andrea Radrizzani has not got the best price for their winger.
The deal is not yet done, but Leeds fans seem fairly upset that £8.5 million might be the price they receive for Clarke…
