Leeds United took on Cagliari in a pre-season friendly last night as they finish preparations for the upcoming Championship campaign.
The end result was a 1-1 draw in a hard-fought affair with the Italian side. Pablo Hernandez eqaulised from the penalty spot after Valter Birsa had previously given the Rossoblu the lead. Kalvin Phillips also saw red late on for an over-zealous challenge.
It was a tough fixture for Leeds, and one that was a far better test for them ahead of the Championship campaign beginning next weekend.
It certainly appears that Marcelo Bielsa still has some concerns ahead of the campaign.
As far as plenty of Leeds fans were concerned, one of those issues is Adam Forshaw.

A notoriously divisive figure among the Leeds fanbase, the central midfielder again failed to impress in Italy.
The 27-year-old has struggled throughout pre-season and considering his inconsistent form last term, some Leeds fans are not hopeful with him in the starting XI.
But with it looking as though Leeds’ transfer business might be at an end, it seems likely that Forshaw is set to remain a starter for the club going into the new season.
These fans are clearly not happy at that potential eventuality…
