A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to react to Jack Harrison’s performance after the Whites produced a stunning display in defeat in their opening day clash with Liverpool.
While there were certainly areas that Marcelo Bielsa may not have been happy with, Leeds could have hardly dreamed of making a bigger statement during their first game back.

Harrison scored a stunning solo goal after the Whites went behind to an early penalty. And Patrick Bamford silenced a number of his doubters with a superbly-taken goal to briefly make the score 2-2.
Nevertheless, it was Liverpool who went into the break in front. However, Leeds would find another equaliser after the break.

Mateusz Klich produced a wonderful finish. The goal – which, agonisingly, was not enough to secure a point – came shortly after Harrison’s run forced Trent Alexander-Arnold to head into his own net. Luckily for the Liverpool man, the offside flag spared his blushes.
And many Leeds supporters on social media felt that Harrison ensured that the full-back endured a miserable time of it all evening.
Plenty took to Twitter to suggest that it was the winger’s best performance for Leeds. His goal was the first indicator that Bielsa’s men belong in the Premier League.
Harrison made giant strides of improvement during his second loan spell at Leeds. And the fans are hopeful that he could be even more influential during his third stint at Elland Road following his outstanding display.
