Leeds United will be looking forward to getting back into action after the international break. The Whites currently top the Championship after a stunning start to life under the management of Marcelo Bielsa.

It also seems some players have taken that good form into international duty.

Macedonia had a solid international break, enjoying two wins from two in their Nations League group.

They beat both Gibraltar and Armenia 2-0, with a Leeds player on the scoresheet in both games.

Ezgjan Alioski bagged their second goal in the win over Gibraltar. He then scored from the penalty spot this afternoon in the game with Armenia.

The attacker is certainly an enigmatic footballer. Sometimes he can look a star, on other occasions he is one of the more frustrating members of the Elland Road dressing room.

This season has started well for the 26-year-old. He has two goals and two assists from his opening six Championship games. But Leeds fans still, rightly, feel he has more to give.

Many are hoping he can carry his goalscoring form into the Championship from next week…
