Leeds United fans react as Marcelo Bielsa is named Manager of the Month

Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has been named as the Manager of the Month for November.

The Whites won every game they played during the month and currently occupy top spot in the Championship.

Leeds are 11 points clear of Fulham in third and look to be cruising towards the Premier League.

It would be a good achievement for the club to get back into the top-flight after last season’s disappointment.

Bielsa saw his team beaten in the play-off semi-final by Derby County last year despite holding a two-goal lead at one stage.

This reward is thoroughly deserved for Bielsa, his staff and the quality group of players which he has put together.

Following the news of his prize, Leeds fans have taken to Twitter.

Some are a bit disgruntled given that it typically comes with a ‘curse’, whilst the majority are delighted to see Bielsa earn the recognition.

Leeds host Cardiff City tomorrow and will be hoping to tighten their grip on the top spot, ahead of games with Fulham and Preston during the Christmas period.
