Eddie Nketiah has hit the ground running at Leeds United having come in towards the end of the transfer window and continues to go from strength to strength.
He has now been named in the England Under 21 squad for the forthcoming European Championship qualifiers against Turkey and Kosovo on the back of his strong start to the season.
It’s often argued that international selectors have a bias towards clubs near the top of the Premier League but Nketiah is getting far more game time at Elland Road than he likely would have at Arsenal, his parent club.
The young hitman is a born goalscorer and high on confidence after his flying start to the season – and his inclusion in the Young Lions setup should further boost his esteem.

The Leeds faithful have taken to Nketiah rapidly – realising that he could well be the man to fire Leeds back into the top flight – and there have been two main reactions on Twitter to the news.
Some supporters just pray he doesn’t get injured; Leeds have a thin squad and injuries up front put a major dent in their promotion hopes last time around.
Others are buzzing for Nketiah, believing that he is well worth a place in the squad following his recent form – they only want to see him hit the net as often as possible.
