Leeds United star Jack Clarke is struggling for game time under Marcelo Bielsa and he could be reportedly recalled by parent club Tottenham Hotspur in January – and Leeds fans have reacted on Twitter.
Clarke, 18, has clocked up just two appearances for Leeds this season after rejoining the club on loan following a permanent move to Tottenham in the summer. He is currently playing the victim of the EFL’s rule of only five loanees in a matchday squad.
Indeed, Leeds boast Helder Costa, Illan Meslier, Eddie Nketiah, Ben White and Jack Harrison on loan from Wolves, Lorient, Arsenal, Brighton and Manchester City respectively. It means Clarke is failing to get into the matchday squad.

The Mirror claims Tottenham could look to recall Clarke and loan him back out in January, if his lack of game time continues. Given that Clarke has only played for Leeds this season, he is able to join a new side on loan in the winter window.
With Harrison and Pablo Hernandez currently starting and Costa as first reserve, it looks unlikely that Clarke will be included in the 18-man squad in the foreseeable future – which has increasingly frustrated Tottenham fans on Twitter.
Leeds fans have reacted on Twitter to the report that Clarke could return to Tottenham in the next transfer window, and many agree that it is probably the best move for the teenager – while some believe the loan was a waste of time in the first place.
