Of the signings Leeds United made in the summer none perhaps excited the fans quite as much as Portuguese winger Helder Costa.
The Wolverhampton Wanderers star arrived on a season-long loan deal, with a buy-out clause reportedly (The Mirror) worth £15 million.
He arrived with a fine reputation from Wolves’ promotion-winning Championship campaign and Leeds fans were hoping he would have an immediate impact at Elland Road.
However, it seems he has taken a while to adjust to Marcelo Bielsa’s style. He struggled to play regularly for the first two months of the season but has been a more regular fixture in October and November. Now, he appears to be hitting form.

Following on from his excellent assist for the winning goal at Reading in midweek, Costa scored his first Championship goal of the season today in a 4-0 win over Middlesbrough.
It came amid one of his best performances yet as a Leeds United player as Bielsa’s side picked up their most convincing win of the season.
It has taken a while for Costa to settle at Leeds but this has been a fine week for the Portuguese attacker.
