Leeds United have another gem on their hands. Jack Clarke is living up to the hype as an incredibly talented young footballer. His performance against Aston Villa in their most recent fixture was, in particular, impressive.
He scored a brilliant goal in the comeback win for Leeds and fans of the West Yorkshire club will be glad to hear his recent comments regarding his future.
Speaking to the Yorkshire Evening Post, he made it clear he has no current intention of leaving Leeds United.
“Get this team to the Prem and stay in the Prem. That’s what my ambitions are.”
Undoubtedly, that is a huge boost for Leeds. Because Clarke’s brilliant performances in the Championship have hardly gone unnoticed.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is said to be a big fan. As reported by The Sun earlier this month, he is hopeful of adding Clarke to his impressive youth ranks.

Liverpool are also keen, according to Football Insider. Everton and Chelsea can also be added to that list.
So to hear that he is committed to taking Leeds to the Premier League is great news. Why shouldn’t he? At Leeds he is playing semi-regularly, working under one of the greatest coaches in the world in Marcelo Bielsa and doing it all for his boyhood club.
Clarke is right to commit his future to Elland Road.
