Leeds United recorded an impressive away victory against Stoke City on Saturday afternoon – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter hailed defender Ben White for his performance.

Marcelo Bielsa’s team secured a 3-0 victory on the road and netted some brilliant team goals.

Stuart Dallas finished off a great passing move just before half-time to open the scoring, while Ezgjan Alioski fired in a second shorly after the break at the far post.

Whites striker Patrick Bamford continued his impressive start to the campaign with the third goal of the contest, as he fired in a low driven shot under the goalkeeper.

The Yorkshire giants sit top of the Championship table with 13 points from five league games, while Stoke are rooted at the bottom with just one point.

A selection of Leeds supporters credited defender White for his display, despite the visitors being on the front foot for large spells.

The 21-year-old centre-back has settled very quickly since joining in the summer on loan from Brighton and wasn’t phased by the absence of injured captain Liam Cooper in defence.

White made a brilliant block when the score was goalless, while his overall player was extremely composed and he was slick in possession.

He produced once memorable piece of skill, as he let the ball go through his legs to get out of a tight defensive area and it highlighted his confidence.
