Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa has told his pre-Fulham press conference – as quoted by Leeds Live – that Adam Forshaw will again miss Saturday’s Championship clash – and Leeds fans are frustrated on Twitter.
Forshaw, 28, has missed Leeds’ last 13 Championship fixtures due to a long-standing hip injury. The midfielder began the campaign in stunning form, but suffered the injury and has since been sidelined.
Leeds have since used Tyler Roberts, Jamie Shackleton and Pablo Hernandez in the middle of the park alongside Mateusz Klich. Forshaw, though remains on the sidelines and it is unclear when he will return to action.
The £4.5million signing from Middlesbrough has no clear return date, according to Leeds boss Bielsa, though the midfielder has repeatedly stated he is working hard to overcome the issue. Bielsa ruled him out of Saturday’s clash against Fulham.

Bielsa did state that Liam Cooper is back with the team ahead of Saturday’s outing, while Tyler Roberts and Jamie Shackleton are close a return. However: “Tyler is healthy. Shackleton also. Forshaw there is no different information.”
Forshaw has pulled on a Leeds shirt 52 times in all competitions, but in retrospect, that is a considerably small number given he is close to clocking up two years at Elland Road. He has a contract at Leeds until the summer of 2022.
Leeds fans reacted to Bielsa’s latest update on Forshaw and Whites fans are finally becoming frustrated with the former Everton and Brentford man. One fan even claimed that he is “stealing a wage”.
