Leeds United are being linked with a potential move for former England international Joe Hart. Rumours have been abounding in recent weeks that Hart is ready to leave Burnley this summer, after failing to win a number one spot ahead of Nick Pope at Turf Moor.
The 33-year-old has struggled to find his form ever since losing his place at Manchester City under Pep Guardiola. Loan spells at Torino and West Ham have been mixed whilst his time at Burnley has not been a great success.
It has led to suggestions he could find himself a new club this summer, with Hart willing to reduce his wages massively. Derby County and Besiktas have been linked by The Sun and Leeds’ name has also popped up in conversation.
Even former Leeds boss Simon Grayson told the Daily Star earlier this week that Hart would be a good Elland Road addition.

The idea is that Leeds might need to replace Kiko Casilla. After the Spanish cap’s dodgy form and recent racial abuse charge, that is an understandable thought process.
However, whilst some Leeds United fans welcome the idea of signing a 75-cap England international, others are doubtful the 6ft 5ins star would suit Leeds United.
Like Guardiola, Marcelo Bielsa likes his goalkeepers to be equally as good with their feet as they are with their hands. Hart does not fit that profile. Indeed, many would prefer to see current back-up Ilan Meslier signed permanently and given a chance ahead of bringing in Hart.
It has certainly led to some lively debate between Leeds fans on Twitter regarding the idea of Hart heading to Elland Road.
