Leeds United fans blown away by Charlie Cresswell footage

Charlie Cresswell of Leeds United looks set for a bright future and supporters have been raving about his display during a 1-1 draw for the under-23 outfit against Manchester City.

Summer signing Sam Greenwood scored his first goal for the Whites during the game, although some footage of Cresswell has really got Leeds fans excited.

The young central defender is captured collecting the ball from the back and rampaging forward to get Leeds going on the attack.

Cresswell is only 17 and is yet to make his first-team debut, although some are now sure he has what it takes to make the step up at some point during his career.

With the Whites boasting some really quality at under-23 level, the 2020/21 campaign will be a big chance for the teenager to highlight his credentials.

Marcelo Bielsa has shown that he isn’t afraid to call upon the club’s younger talents and Cresswell will be well aware that Leeds aren’t exactly blessed with a plethora of central defenders.
