It would be fair to say that Leeds United fans are pretty happy with their new manager. Marcelo Bielsa has turned the club’s fortunes around so far this season. The Whites are currently top of the Championship after a swashbuckling start to the campaign.
In that time, the Argentine has not really put a foot wrong.
Until now, in the eyes of some Leeds fans.
The Whites are set to be short in the striking positions over the next few months. Patrick Bamford has suffered a knee injury and will be out for four months.

Some fans, are not happy with Bielsa over the situation.
Bamford injured his knee whilst playing for the under-23s during the international break. Bielsa obviously felt the £7 million summer signing needed some playing time, so sanctioned the decision. However, it has clearly backfired with his injury absence set to cause some serious problems for Leeds.
Which brings up another reason fans are not pleased. Bielsa was insistent on working with a streamlined squad and many felt Leeds were short in the striking position. With Bamford now out, that certainly looks the case.
This is the first time Leeds fans have reason to be perturbed by Bielsa’s decisions but it will likely not be the last. However, overall the supporters at Elland Road must be over the moon with the way Bielsa has conducted himself in West Yorkshire so far. If they can get over this blip, Leeds will no doubt still believe in ‘El Loco.’
