Leeds United have dropped to fourth in the Championship following a 1-0 loss to Charlton Athletic at The Valley.
Once again, the team’s struggles at defending set-pieces were on show as Tom Lockyer’s headed effort was punched by Kiko Casilla off a Charlton player for the only goal of the game.
That Charlton player was Macauley Bonne, who was once reportedly a Leeds United target himself.

Back in December of last year, it was reported that Leeds were keen on the Zimbabwean. TEAMtalk reported that Leeds were considering a move for the striker in January following his excellent form at Leyton Orient.
It came after the former Colchester man was on a scoring spree with Orient. He has netted 25 goals in 2017-18 and was on a similar path last season.
But Leeds’ apparent interest came to nothing. In the end, it was Charlton who won the race for the non-league sensation.
Bonne joined the Addicks in an undisclosed deal this summer and capped his first league start for the club with a goal against Leeds yesterday.
Leeds will no doubt wish they had made a move for the player after all.
