Saturday saw them defeated late on by Swansea City at Elland Road and Marcelo Bielsa will now oversee two weeks of hard work ahead of their next game.

August has proved a month to remember for one member of Leeds’ squad.

On-loan Brighton and Hove Albion defender Ben White has been named as the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for his performances during the opening six games.

The strapping 21-year-old has paired up with Liam Cooper impeccably well having replaced Pontus Jansson and he thoroughly deserves his personal accolade.

He won the award with 44% of the vote and beat his team-mate Patrick Bamford in the race to claim the first Player of the Month of the campaign.

Leeds fans are delighted with his contribution to the team. In the aftermath of today’s announcement, they have taken to Twitter to praise their colossal central defender.

Bielsa must already be weighing-up a permanent move for White and that would come as no surprise.
