Leeds target Rodrigo De Paul likes tweet asking about potential Whites move
Rodrigo De Paul has done little to quash speculation that he could be on the way to Leeds United this summer after liking a tweet from a Whites supporter asking about a potential move to Elland Road.
The Telegraph reported last month that Leeds had made De Paul their number one midfield target for the final weeks of the window. It was suggested that he was set to cost at least £25 million.
Since then, there has been plenty of speculation surrounding the 26-year-old’s future. However, many Leeds fans would have been forgiven for refusing to get carried away about the links.
But De Paul has not exactly helped those planning to keep their excitement under control for the time-being.
It emerged that the Argentina international had liked a tweet from a Leeds supporter asking whether he is coming to Elland Road. The fan notes that he would be adored in West Yorkshire…
And it would appear that De Paul liked what he was reading. It must be noted that the tweet no longer appears amongst those he has liked.
But Leeds fans will be hoping that it is a reason for encouragement. Signing De Paul would be another outstanding statement from the Whites this summer.
It remains to be seen if a deal can be done. But perhaps there is hope that it is potentially a move that would appeal to the Udinese star.
