Leeds target Noa Lang nominated for Pro League Player of the Year
Leeds United have perhaps been given further encouragement to target a move for Noa Lang this summer, with the forward one of three nominated for the Pro League Player of the Year in Belgium.
Lang has enjoyed an outstanding year following his loan switch to Club Brugge. The 21-year-old has scored 16 goals in all competitions.
His form has helped Brugge put themselves on the brink of securing the title. They are five points clear with two games remaining in the play-off stage.
That may interest Leeds, based on recent reports.
The Telegraph claimed earlier this month that the Whites are keen on Lang. It was noted that his loan move from Ajax had been turned into a permanent deal, but he could still move elsewhere this summer.
In fact, it was suggested that he could cost around £20 million.
Lang is a player who has played all over the front line this season. He has actually played most of his football out on the left wing.
As well as 16 goals, he has provided 11 assists.
You can certainly understand why he has been nominated for both honours, and why clubs such as Leeds are taking a look.
