Leeds United reportedly have a “tentative interest” in QPR attacker Eberechi Eze.
According to talkSPORT, the Whites have eyed the highly-rated 20-year-old from their Championship rivals, while Luke Freeman is another one of their players in their sights.
The report details that the playmaker is one of QPR’s most prized assets and that he’s comfortable in staying at Loftus Road for the foreseeable future.
Eze would certainly be a real coup for Leeds if they could manage to bring the youngster to Elland Road, as he’s previously been linked with some elite clubs in the past.
According to the Evening Standard in September 2018, Tottenham, Chelsea, Manchester City Liverpool and Crystal Palace all held an interest in him.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail reported in its print edition (11 January 2019, Page 85), Palace and Brighton were keen on the £10million-rated Championship starlet.
Eze certainly is someone with huge potential and to add him to the array of talented youngsters at Leeds could be a masterstroke from manager Marcelo Bielsa.
The playmaker has made 38 senior appearances for QPR this season, scoring four goals and supplying four assists in return.
He usually plays in the number 10 role behind the striker and is a great dribbler, while he’s got a lot of room to improve.
