Leeds United’s promotion bid is set to be further tested by an injury to key player Kemar Roofe.
The Whites have confirmed (official website) that the 26-year-old attacker will face a period on the sidelines with knee ligament damage.
It’s unclear on how long he will be out of action, but the Yorkshire giants are clearly going to miss someone who has 14 league goals this season.
Leeds are currently third in the Championship table and the race for the automatic promotion spots is intense.
Manager Marcelo Bielsa is going to need the Roofe void filled and Patrick Bamford is the like-for-like replacement.
But Bielsa could also need highly-rated youngster Tyler Roberts to come to the rescue.

Roberts moved to Elland Road for £2.5million (Sky Sports) in January 2018 and is yet to become a regular starter.
The 20-year-old has scored three times in 18 senior appearances this campaign, with the manager putting faith in him.
But he could have a huge role in supporting Bamford in attack and he needs to try justify the money spent on him.
Roberts is a senior Wales international and does have many similarities to Roofe, but needs to try find a cutting edge in the final third.
There will be criticism aimed at Bielsa for having a lack of senior options if the promotion bid derails, but youngster Roberts could come to his rescue with some goals.
