Leeds United striker Eddie Nketiah, on loan from Arsenal, has hinted that he will return from injury soon.
Nketiah has taken to Twitter to post a picture of himself in a Leeds shirt, celebrating a goal. He has captioned it: ‘Almost time’ while adding the #MOT hashtag (Leeds slogan ‘Marching on Together’).
It has been a frustrating loan spell for Nketiah so far. This isn’t because he has struggled on the pitch; in fact, he has excelled when given the opportunity.

But Marcelo Bielsa has been hesitant to use the England U21 striker. Instead, he has kept the faith with Patrick Bamford, much to the annoyance of both Arsenal and Leeds fans.
Nketiah has managed 12 outings for Leeds and scored five goals. But he has only played 430 minutes in total – an average of 35 minutes for every appearance. With these stats, it works out that Nketiah is scoring at better than a rate of one goal every 90 minutes.
Leeds fans want to see more of the 20-year-old and Arsenal fans want to see him playing or recalled. Here are some tweets from both sets of supporters discussing Nketiah’s imminent injury return.
