Leeds United are currently third-placed in the Championship table after the opening 12 games and would love to still be near the top by the time the January window comes around.
The halfway stage usually gives a clear indication of which teams are in the promotion hunt and Marcelo Bielsa’s side have looked one of the strongest in the division so far.
But the Yorkshire giants may need a couple of extra additions in the January transfer window to get them over the line and lining up potential wingers should be a priority for the club.
Leeds have decent wide options in the shape of Pablo Hernandez, Ezgjan Alioski, Jack Harrison and Stuart Dallas, but that is perhaps the one main area they have been lacking so far this season.
An injury to talisman Hernandez has left them slightly short and they could do with bolstering options to sustain their strong form.

Leeds have already enjoyed success with loan deals in recent years and that’s why they should cast their eye of Leicester City’s Fousseni Diabate.
The 22-year-old arrived at the Premier League club in January and became a regular in the first team during the second half of last season.
He’s a left-winger with phenomenal pace that didn’t look out of place in the top flight and proved his technical ability with some eye-catching dribbles.
Diabate finds himself on the fringes at the King Power Stadium and has made just one senior appearances this season, which is why Leeds should tempt Leicester into sending him out on loan for more regular action.
