Leeds United have a talented group of players that should be pushing near the top of the Championship next season, but they do perhaps still look a little light in the heart of defence.
Marcelo Bielsa should be aiming to mastermind a promotion bid after finishing third last year and suffering defeat in the play-off semi-finals.
The Yorkshire giants look fairly strong in most areas of the park, but the exit of Pontus Jansson has left a sizeable void at centre-back.
Whites captain Liam Cooper remains a solid option, while there is also Gaetano Berardi and Brighton loanee Ben White to slot in.
With Berardi suspended at the beginning of the season, it highlights a lack of cover at centre-back that Leeds should still look to address that issue in the remainder of the window.
One player that should pop up on the club’s radar is Arsenal’s Konstantinos Mavropanos.

Leeds should consider an approach for the Arsenal defender and try to take him on loan for the upcoming campaign.
The 21-year-old finds himself on the fringes of the Premier League outfit and he played just four senior games at the Emirates Stadium last season.
But he’s a youngster with immense talent and potential, so he could be a perfect target for Bielsa and thrive in the Championship.
Mavropanos is a centre-back renowned for his brute strength and he just needs some regular minutes to help his development.
The Greek enforcer would certainly strengthen competition for places at Elland Road, while surely the deal would make sense for Arsenal too.
He’s got all the skills to be a success in English football with his power and reading of the game, so Leeds should see if a deal could be possible.
