Andrea Radrizzani hits back at Daily Mail reports
Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has rubbished claims that he is preparing to sell the club if promotion is not secured this season.
The Daily Mail reported that Radrizzani is considering selling Leeds if they stay in the Championship this term.
But Radrizzani took to Twitter to hit back. He tweeted: “Rather then [sic] write a lot of nonsense, next time please come for a cup of tea and I am happy to disclosure [sic] my projects insiders so you can stop make non sense [sic] assumption just to attack and unstable [sic] our club.”
Ryan Edmondson scores twice
Ryan Edmondson staked his claim for a first-team spot with a fine performance for Leeds’ under-23 side.
In the Premier League Cup clash with Newcastle’s under-23 team, Edmondson scored twice as Leeds recorded a 3-1 win.
The 17-year-old has only managed a 20-minute cameo in the first-team this season.
Kemar Roofe’s rehabilitation update
Leeds physio Rob Price has been impressed by Kemar Roofe’s desire to get fit again, he revealed to LUTV.
The 26-year-old is Leeds’ top scorer this season but is set to miss the whole of March with knee ligament injuries.
Price told LUTV: “He’s already started [rehabilitation]. One of the big things that Kemar did the day after [the injured] is say he wanted to do double sessions.
“He’s a really, really good pro and the fact that he’s working so hard, he’s going to reduce the time [that he misses].”
