Marcelo Bielsa has announced that Leeds will field an unchanged starting line-up when they face Bristol City this weekend, Phil Hay of The Yorkshire Post reports.

Leeds beat West Brom 4-0 last Friday and Bielsa will keep faith with his same 11 players.

Bristol City are Leeds’ next opponents as Bielsa prepares his team for a trip to Ashton Gate.

Bielsa has provided an injury update on Leeds starlet Jack Clarke and it is positive news, Phil Hay reports.

The 18-year-old was taken off and required oxygen in a game against Middlesbrough in early February and he has now been out for nearly a month with illness.

But Bielsa confirmed that exciting winger Clarke will be back soon, saying: “He’s well, he’s fit. He will play next week in an Under-23s game. After this game, he will probably be able to be in the group.”

Bristol City manager Lee Johnson has admitted that the form of winger Callum O’Dowda – previously a Leeds target – might be affected by his contract situation.

The Yorkshire Post noted Leeds’ interest in the 23-year-old during the January transfer window and his contract situation is unclear at Bristol City.

Johnson told The Bristol Post: “It’s important we resolve the issue with Callum. I don’t know if there’s anything in the conscious or sub-conscious [affecting his current form] but the fact is at the moment he hasn’t signed.”
