Leeds United have been handed an away tie at League Two side Crawley Town in the third round of the FA Cup.
Marcelo Bielsa has tended to turn to younger players in the cup competitions during his time at Elland Road. And it would be little surprise if he selected an inexperienced squad for the tie.
With that in mind, TBR has made a speculative attempt at predicting how Leeds may line up for the game.
The most notable inclusions may be Cody Drameh and Joe Gelhardt. Both players arrived during the summer. And they have gone on to make a major impression with the under-23s.
It is arguably a surprise that neither Drameh or Gelhardt have had a chance to date. But the trip to Crawley offers a good opportunity for their Leeds bows.
Charlie Cresswell made his debut in the Carabao Cup this season. And the 18-year-old may return to the backline. Like Drameh and Gelhardt, he has been hugely impressive for Mark Jackson’s side this term.
There may also be starts for the likes of Olly Casey, Leif Davis, Pascal Struijk, Ian Poveda and Jamie Shackleton.
Meanwhile, Kiko Casilla, Gjanni Alioski and Tyler Roberts could bring some experience to the side. The latter may be given a big chance to make a statement up front.
