Leeds predicted lineup vs Watford: Bielsa makes two changes

Leeds United will be desperate to go into the international break having secured their first win of the season in the Premier League.

The Whites host Watford in what already feels like a massive game. On paper, Marcelo Bielsa’s side will not have many better opportunities to secure three points.

As things stand, it would appear that Leeds are set to receive a couple of boosts ahead of the game against the Hornets.

And that may lead to a couple of big decisions from Bielsa.

Firstly, Jack Harrison may return to the starting lineup. The £11 million winger returned to the bench at the weekend after being absent for a couple of games.

In his absence, Daniel James showed glimpses of his quality. However, it could be argued that the Wales international has not yet managed to push ahead of Harrison in the pecking order.

Meanwhile, the other change comes at centre-back.

Leeds are set to welcome Pascal Struijk back from suspension. And his return is set to leave Bielsa with a tricky decision.

Charlie Cresswell has been a revelation since coming in. And there are likely to be plenty of fans who will want the 19-year-old to keep his place.

Liam Cooper will surely start. And picking Struijk alongside him would perhaps be the safer bet. But Cresswell’s time will come.

Of course, much may depend on the fitness of the players who missed the defeat to West Ham due to injury.

The likes of Robin Koch, Diego Llorente, Luke Ayling and Patrick Bamford were sidelined. So if any are back training, they may well get the nod if Bielsa deems them to be fit enough.
