Despite losing, Leeds United took the Premier League by storm at the weekend with a superb performance at Anfield.
The Whites came agonisingly close to securing a point with a 3-3 draw. However, a clumsy challenge from debutant Rodrigo Moreno saw the Reds bag a late winner from the penalty spot.
Rodrigo will surely be desperate to make amends as soon as possible. And it appears that he may get a golden opportunity on Wednesday as Leeds face Hull City in the Carabao Cup.
It would arguably not be a huge surprise to see the Spain international make his full debut for the club at Elland Road.
And perhaps, there is a chance that Rodrigo could be involved in one of nine changes for the tie with the Tigers.
The only two survivors from the starting lineup on Merseyside may be Pascal Struijk and Mateusz Klich.
Struijk did well at centre-back. But the lack of cover for Kalvin Phillips in the squad may see the 21-year-old pushed forward into the position he shone in in the final games of last season.
Meanwhile, Klich keeps his place in what could be a seriously-exciting midfield. Gjanni Alioski and Ian Poveda may start on both wings, with Tyler Roberts replacing Pablo Hernandez.
Behind Struijk may be a completely different back four. Barry Douglas could come in at left-back, with Jamie Shackleton on the other flank.
And Leif Davis and Oliver Casey could come in to provide Robin Koch with a rest after his weekend debut.
In goal, Kiko Casilla may get a chance with Illan Meslier establishing himself as the club’s number one.
With that in mind, here is our updated prediction on how Leeds may lineup against Hull…
