Leeds United are looking to strengthen their pack in January and could now make a move for Bournemouth’s’ David Brooks.

The Whites are well in the promotion picture in the Championship and a big second half of the season could well see them make their way into the top two if things go their way.

However, Daniel Farke is under no illusions as to what it will take and he’ll be asking for new signings of high quality to come in during January.

And according to TalkSPORT’s Alex Crook, one of the players Leeds could look to sign is Cherries winger Brooks.

Taking to social media (X) just now, Crook has confirmed Leeds are in the mix to land the Bournemouth ace.

David Brooks can really help Leeds

We all know the story of David Brooks and how he has had to battle back from serious illness to get back to being a Premier League player. It’s hugely admirable and everyone wants to see him playing regularly now.

Under Andoni Iraola, Bournemouth have been flying of late and Brooks has played his part, albeit a smaller one than he might want.

A chance of a move to Leeds could be something that interests Brooks here. It’s a big opportunity to go and play regularly in an exciting attacking team who are going for Championship promotion.

Leeds already have a number of exciting attacking players in the ranks and quite whether £11.5m man Brooks would dislodged a Summerville or Rutter in the XI is open to debate.

However, it’s all about having strength and quality in depth to get out of the Championship and signing Brooks would give Leeds that. Lauded by Eddie Howe as a ‘very intelligent‘ footballer, Brooks would give Farke yet another attacking option.

Certainly, it’s a signing that has a lot of upside to it and for Brooks himself, it’s a big chance to go and get more games and really kick on in rebuilding his career.
